Laws and Regulations

The Improper Payments Information Act of 2002 (IPIA), Public Law 107-300, enacted on November 26, 2002, requires the heads of Federal agencies to review annually programs they oversee that are susceptible to significant erroneous payments, to estimate the amount of improper payments, to report those estimates to the Congress, and to submit a report on actions the agency is taking to reduce erroneous expenditures.

Delaware Cycle 1 Program & CM

The PERM Project is well underway and Medical Record (MR) requests are going out to Providers from A+ Government Solutions, a contractor hired by CMS to complete the medical record review. Providers must submit proper medical record documentation supporting the paid claim(s) selected within 60 days of the request. The required documentation must include sufficient information to validate that services were provided, were medically necessary, and were consistent with the specified diagnosis during the time of claim payment.

The DMAP Manuals, Bulletins and Forms link consist of general policy and billing manuals to be used by all providers, in addition to the provider specific manuals. Click the link to learn more about new initiatives, requirements, and information specific to DMAP providers.
